A site visit is a precision measurement session at your home, and it is included free with every Quartz Store order. Our surveyor captures your kitchen dimensions using laser measurement technology, accurate to 0.5mm. This data drives the CNC fabrication of your worktop.

Why Professional Measurement Matters

UK kitchens are never square. Walls bow inward or outward by 2-5mm over a 3-metre run. Corners measure 89° or 91° instead of 90°. Window reveals sit at slightly different heights. These variations are invisible to the eye but critical to a worktop that fits precisely.

DIY measuring with a tape measure misses these details. A 3mm error becomes a visible gap or an overhang that catches the hip. Professional templating eliminates this risk entirely.

What Happens During the Visit

The visit takes 30-60 minutes depending on kitchen complexity. Our surveyor:
