Fitting Notes
Undrilled supply. All doors arrive without hinge or handle holes. Standard 35mm hinge boring is required — most kitchen fitters have the appropriate jig for this.
Cabinet compatibility. Designed for standard 720mm-high cabinet carcasses. The 715mm door height allows for a 2-3mm gap top and bottom, which is standard industry practice for ventilation and alignment.
Handles and hinges. Sold separately. We stock a range of handles, knobs, and soft-close hinges that pair with these doors — see our Kitchen Handles section.
Cutting and trimming. Doors can be trimmed by up to 5mm per edge if needed to accommodate uneven walls or floors. Use a fine-toothed blade to prevent chipping.
Does Hunton Hartforth Blue come with hinges?
No. Hinges are sold separately. We recommend 35mm soft-close concealed hinges, which are available in our store. Most doors require two hinges; doors over 600mm wide or particularly heavy doors may benefit from three.
Can I paint or re-finish this door?
Vinyl-wrapped doors should not be painted — the paint will not adhere reliably to the vinyl surface. If you want a painted finish, consider our painted MDF door options instead.
How do I clean Hunton Hartforth Blue doors?
Wipe with a soft cloth dampened with warm water and a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, and solvent-based products. For stubborn marks, a small amount of diluted white vinegar on a cloth works well.
What size door do I need?
Door width matches your cabinet carcass width. A 300mm-wide cabinet takes a 297mm door (allowing for standard overlay). Check your carcass dimensions or contact us with your layout and we can advise on exact sizing.
